We are all lucky to have each other for help, guidance, a shoulder to cry on and to share a laugh with! Cumbrian Dog Walkers are the best!

In some parts of the country, there seems to be a real “war of the dog walkers” – dog walking companies publicly complaining about one another, arguments playing out on business pages, and walkers asking for advice about other companies “stealing clients”.

I’m very proud to say that here in and around Cockermouth, it’s completely different. Our local dog walking businesses support one another, help each other out, recommend each other when we’re unable to help, and even give each other a wave as we drive around town collecting and dropping off our four-legged clients.

And on that note, everyone meet Maggie! 🐾

Maggie’s usual dog walker is currently on holiday, so we get the pleasure of having her join us during the school holidays. She is an absolute delight to walk. She’s your typical excited spaniel, full of enthusiasm, but she knows all her commands and, best of all, seems to love posing for a photo! 📸

What a bitter sweet day today!! Sweet because we are now finished work for our summer holidays! Bitter as today was our last walk with Theo as he is moving out of our area while we are on holiday! Now if we had an awards ceremony Theo would definitely win the most happiest, friendliest, smiliest boy trophy! He was an absolutely joy to walk, never gave us any bother and loved playing with his friends! We will miss him terribly! 🖤😢🐶😘

As usual in the school holidays we get a bit quieter so it's a perfect opportunity to ratch out new walks! Today's new walk was a huge hit with everyone and it was right on our doorstep! 🐶😍
