For Our lovely Ashi ❤️🐾
For five wonderful years, Ashi has been such a special part of our family. She became so much more than a dog we cared for — she truly became one of us.
She is incredibly intelligent, loving and gentle, and gives the best cuddles. It has been wonderful watching her grow and come so far, thanks in no small part to the love, patience and care of her amazing owner.
She has certainly given us some unforgettable memories too! One of my favourites has to be the day she decided to jump into the river. When she couldn't get herself back up the muddy bank, I went down to pull her out — only to slip and fall straight into the river myself! Ashi, meanwhile, stood safely on the bank, shaking herself off and wagging her tail as if she'd just witnessed the funniest thing ever! 😂
And then, just to make things even more interesting, my own dog decided to jump in too. I'd like to think she was trying to save me, but I suspect she simply wanted to join in the fun! So I ended up rescuing both dogs. 😂
My husband will never let me live that moment down when I walked through the door, head to toe dripping wet on the most sunniest of days.
Ashi has meant so much to our whole family and we will miss her terribly. While it's sad to say goodbye, we're so happy for her as she begins her new adventure with her owner in a new county.
We will miss you Ashi.
