We have these little guys and they will be coming up for adoption very soon

X-men Revival! 🦸‍♀️

After coming in with 5 kittens already, we thought Jean Grey had her fill of motherhood. However she had 6 little secrets waiting! 🐱

Here at the branch, we are very much in our second wave of kittens this year. As much as we love their cute, little faces, this is well and truly becoming a kitten crisis that all cat charities are facing. 🐾

If you are a cat owner, please neuter your cats! There are far too many kittens that end up dumped in outhouses, rivers, vets and rescues due to negligence of owners. Charities are full, they are overrun! Kittens and pregnant cats need longer care and therefore take up space in rescues for longer also. 🐈‍⬛

Neutering vouchers are available from charities from time to time, but if resources are being used up to care for cats already born, the preventive help becomes limited. Please do not rely on charities to foot the whole bill! We want to help as many cats as possible! 🥺

Before taking in a cat, please ensure you have the financial resources to neuter and vaccinate them! Microchipping is also now required by law for cats. ⚖

Adopting from a rescue means that those initial costs have already been paid for, this Adoptober (and beyond) please consider adopting and not shopping for a pet. 🐈🐕🐰

If able to, please consider donating towards the care of our kittens or purchasing bargains from any of our charity shops! Every pound counts! 🙏

Pablo Picato appears to be finding his stay at Purrfect Staycation rather stressful… 😂🐾

Cuddles, chin scratches, ridiculously comfy beds and plenty of one-to-one attention. It’s a hard life, Pablo! ❤️

We absolutely love seeing our guests this relaxed and settled during their stay. Every cat is different, so we take the time to get to know them and make their stay feel as comfortable and homely as possible.

🐾 Meet Kuzco 🐾 Also looking for his forever home.

Kuzco is a gorgeous boy with plenty of character who is looking for a home that will love him for exactly who he is. ❤️

He’s always happy to come over and say hello and enjoys weaving around your legs for a friendly fuss, but he’s not necessarily a cat who wants lots strokes, cuddles or to be picked up. Kuzco likes affection on his own terms and would suit someone who understands and appreciates a more independent cat.

We think Kuzco would be happiest in a home where he have plenty of access to the outdoors, so he can enjoy the freedom of coming and going or be an outside cat 🌿🐈

If you’re looking for a handsome, independent companion with his own personality, Kuzco could be your perfect match. ❤️

If you are interested in adopting Kuzco, please click the link below to the application form.

🐾 Meet our gorgeous little black kittens looking for their forever homes! 🖤

💙 Cypher – Blue Collar
Cypher is a super outgoing little boy and an absolute cuddle monster! He loves being around people, getting plenty of fuss and will happily soak up as much attention as you’re willing to give him. 🥰

💚 Morph – Green Collar
Morph is another confident, friendly little chap who loves a good cuddle but is always ready for playtime too! He’s a fun, affectionate boy with bags of personality. 🐾

🩷 Phoenix – Bright Pink Collar
Phoenix is our lovely little explorer! She’s curious, friendly and loves investigating what’s going on, but she’s just as happy being close to you and getting some attention. A gorgeous little girl. 💕

🌸 Shadowcat – Light Pink Collar
Shadowcat is our quieter little lady. She likes having her own space and may take a little time to decide you’re worthy of her affection! 😻 But once she gets to know and trust you, she’s an absolutely gorgeous, sweet little puss.

They’re four beautiful little personalities, all looking for homes where they can be loved and spoiled. 🏡🖤

If you think Cypher, Morph, Phoenix or Shadowcat could be the perfect addition to your family, please get in touch about adoption. 🐾

It was proud moment to be part of the RSPCA branch’s catch-up newsletter and to show the three new purpose-built RSPCA pen suites we’ve created here at Purrfect Staycation. This is something that means a lot to us, and from the start we just wanted to create a safe, comfortable place for cats and kittens who need a little help before finding their forever homes. ❤️🐾

We absolutely love welcoming both new and familiar faces to stay with us. 🐾 There’s something really special about getting to know a new guest and watching them settle in and show us their little personality, but we also love seeing our returning guests come back through the door and feeling like they’re part of the family. ❤️ It really is a pleasure spending time with every one of them, making sure they’re happy, relaxed and getting plenty of fuss while they’re with us. 🐱💕
