** class postponement**
With the forecast being a little warm this Bank Holiday I’m going to postpone tomorrow’s 10.30am youngster class.
With the arena having no shade at all I don’t feel it’s in the best interest of the dogs to go ahead.
I’ll see what the forecast says for next week but I’ll probably move this session to a weekday evening.

How beautiful is this youngster!! Miss Zen has taken to Hoopers like a duck to water. She just excels each week and is a pure joy. I break every rule with her with interactions (and winding her up through play. Her human is very tolerant of me 😂)
A very well deserved pass and super handling 👊👏👏👏

Renovatichi Namaste AKA Zen passed her Hoopers level 2 this morning! What a good girl! Thank you to Emily Rose Dog Training for your brilliant classes, we are looking forward to progressing further 🙂

This is a weekly class for youngsters up to 9 months old. Aimed to suit those who can’t commit to a course for lifestyle reasons and also those on courses that might want to do a little extra.
A variation each week covering
Loose lead walking
Appropriate greetings
Appropriate socialisation
Gate/doorway manners
Handling for vets
Confidence

These little beauties are still here on an extended holiday. Thankfully their keepers saw my post and have been in touch and they’ll be going home at the weekend 😊
They’re very sweet and it would be easy to become attached to them, and they’re very trainable! I’ve managed to establish a routine for feeding to hopefully ensure that on collection day they’ll be here. If the weather remains kind I would like to start crate training them to make their journey home less stressful.
I must add that I’ve never attempted to crate train peafowl before 😅

A different one for the morning! If anybody hears of someone missing 2 young peacocks, they’re currently in Kingthorpe. I believe they may be from the Hoop Lane area….

Today was week 3 of the youngster class, so far we’ve looked at loose lead walking, appropriate greetings, recalls and setting up for success going into the vets including waiting room sits and practicing sitting on ‘scales’
