We are an aquatic centre based inside the Langton Greenhouse & Garden Centre in East Langton on the outskirts of Market Harborough.

We stock a wide range of accessories and livestock for aquariums and ponds and we Strive to provide a great service. Our Animal Activity License No is AW074

💙 THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO APPLIED! 💙

We’ve been genuinely overwhelmed by the fantastic response to our Sunday Team Member position. Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply and tell us a little about yourself.

We’ve now contacted those who have been selected for an interview, and we’ve also sent emails to everyone who applied to let them know the outcome.

If you haven’t heard from us, we apologise if we’ve somehow missed you, but unfortunately this means your application hasn’t been successful on this occasion.

With so many great applications, it certainly wasn’t an easy decision!

🌿 POND PLANTS HAVE ARRIVED! 🌿

Our latest delivery is here and we’ve got some lovely pond plants in stock! 🪷

🌸 Lilies
🌱 Marginals
💧 Potted oxygenators
🍃 Floating Frogbit
🌿 Bunched Hornwort

And this is our LAST pond plant delivery of 2026! 😲

Once these are gone, that’s it until 2027 — so if you’re looking to add some colour, cover or natural filtration to your pond, now is the time!

The last day to apply for the Sunday position will be Wednesday the 26th of August. We will then be looking to meet with a selection of the applicants and will notify them via Email.

We are looking for a new team member to work Sundays at Harborough Aquatics.

This could be ideal for someone in full-time education looking for a regular Sunday job, or someone who already working and is looking for an additional day’s work each week.

We’re looking for someone who is:

🐟 Friendly and approachable
🐟 Reliable and hardworking
🐟 Good with customers
🐟 Willing to learn and get involved
🐟 Interested in fish, aquariums and ponds — although experience isn’t essential

The role will involve serving customers, working on the tills, looking after our aquariums and general shop duties.

These are the last of our large Japanese Koi we have available for this year. We still have smaller ones too including some butterfly koi. The photos of the tubs are all the larger fish and the cat pictures are the smaller fish.

Some of our new fish this week. Got to say how much we are loving these Golden Pearl/Lace Gourami 😍. Too many to post but well worth a visit to pick up some lovely new additions for your aquarium.
