This adorable 7 month old fur baby is so nervous and reactive, especially around her face and paws. Patience, lots of positive reinforcement, two visits to the table, all the puppy cuddles she needed and she can finally see again….and I still have all my fingers 🙌 🐕

Puppy grooming isn’t about giving them a full haircut straight away. It’s about building trust, confidence and positive experiences around being handled and groomed.
✨ Early grooming helps your puppy learn to:
🐾 Stand calmly on a grooming table
🐾 Become comfortable with being touched and handled
🐾 Have their paws, ears and face gently examined
🐾 Get used to clippers, scissors, dryers and grooming noises
🐾 Have their nails trimmed
🐾 Experience bathing and drying
🐾 Learn that grooming can be a calm and enjoyable experience
Regular grooming also gives us the opportunity to spot things such as matting, skin changes, sore areas, ear problems or nail issues early.
Most importantly, I take things at your puppy’s pace. The aim is to create a puppy who grows into a dog that feels comfortable and relaxed about being groomed, rather than seeing grooming as something scary.
