Handmade from sustainablly-sourced wood, my Fairy Doors are a unique and delightful keepsake for young and old. The doors have a quaint and rustic charm, making them an ideal gift for the person who has everything else! My doors are hand-cut, sanded, decorated free-hand using pyrography, then protected with several layers of yacht varnish, making them ideal for both indoors and outdoors. To compl
iment the doors I use a lovely selection of realistic artificial flowers, paint, hand-picked and dried moss, willow and coconut flower stems, hinges and handles and other embellishments to give the doors charm and character. I also make 'memorial' doors, and work with you to create something special, and which is the essence of a loved one, human or animal. All my fairy doors are individually handmade, so no two doors will ever be exactly the same. I enjoy working with the natural markings of the wood, and often incorporate the 'knots' etc into the design. The doors range from around 4 1/2 inches to 10 inches high, and can be as simple or ornate as you like. I always have a wide selection of doors ready-made, so please get in touch if you need something quickly.
