Did you know axolotls are carnivores? 🦎

In the wild, they feed on worms, invertebrates, crustaceans and small fish. They also use a unique vacuum-like feeding technique, sucking food into their mouths rather than chewing it.

For a convenient staple diet, NT Labs Pro-f Axolotl Pellets are quick-sinking, high-protein pellets specially formulated for axolotls, with separate Junior and Adult sizes.

🍂 Prepare Your Pond For Autumn

As the temperatures begin to fall, autumn brings changes to your pond that can affect water quality and filtration.

Fallen leaves and other organic matter can increase the amount of waste entering your pond, while your fish and filter continue to produce and process waste as the seasons change.

This is where Optimus and Satus can help.

💧 Optimus detoxifies ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, converting them into a safer form that can be processed by your pond’s biological filter. It also removes chlorine and chloramine from tap water, making it ideal for use during water changes and top-ups.

🦠 Satus helps establish and enhance your pond’s biological filter. Its Satus organism can rapidly remove ammonia and degrade organic compounds, helping to break down organic waste and prevent it from building up in the pond.

Used together, Optimus and Satus can support your pond’s biological filtration and help maintain good water quality as we head towards the colder months.

🍁 Give your pond the preparation it needs this autumn.

🐠 Fancy Goldfish fact!

Did you know that Fancy Goldfish can be more prone to buoyancy problems because of their rounded body shape?

This is one reason why a slow-sinking food can be a great choice. It gives Fancy Goldfish the opportunity to feed throughout the water column, rather than having to feed at the surface, which can lead to increased air intake.

Our Fancy Goldfish Food features a slow-sinking pellet, formulated to meet their nutritional needs, with added astaxanthin to enhance their natural colours. ✨

Developed using the same key principles as our award-winning Medikoi Food range, it provides high nutrient uptake with very low waste.
