Why neutering your cat matters 🐾

'Neutering' is a surgical procedure to remove testicles and ovaries. For males it's called castration, and for females is called spaying.

Neutering has an array of benefits that include:

🐱 Can reduce roaming, fighting and spraying behaviour
🐱 Reduces the risk of catching diseases such as FIV
🐱 Helps reduce the number of cats entering rescues

Most cats can be neutered from around 4 months of age, before they reach sexual maturity.

Today, our dog Daisy gave us a fright when the dog groomer found a tick! 😳

It’s important to always be safe and aware, especially this time of year, for ticks, especially if your dog enjoys running in long grass, as this is where ticks often live!

Luckily I’m prepared if ever I find any, I have a tick removal kit and a dog first aid kit, but this time, the tick was missed, which is easily done!

The same goes for grass seeds, they can also lodge into your dogs fur/skin and cause them harm.

Keep a lookout on your dogs! 🐾❤️👀
