🐾 Tinkerbell’s ‘4 stages of acceptance’ at her vet home visit:
1) Pretend Dr Kate isn’t there
2) Check if we’ve gone
3) Panic?
4) Realise it’s all ok actually!🤍

We see a lot of cats in the home setting for many different reasons & we are able to minimise their stress in lots of different ways.

If you have a cat or a dog that needs vet care at home, feel free to call us!

‼️Act fast & NO wet towels or blankets!
💦☀️We’ve been busy in the heat & owners are doing great keeping their pets cool. There’s lots of advice online in the event of heat stroke, but one piece of advice we need to share -

‼️Do not cover your pet with a wet towel or blanket‼️

💦We can see why owners would think this provides a cooling effect but this traps the heat in when our main goal is to cool the pet down💦

Stay calm, cool with water, create a breeze and call the vet🐾

🤍 The saddest decision is also the kindest🤍

We truly know how hard the decision can be for any pet owner to say goodbye to their much loved pet, but it’s the last act of love you can give them so you don’t have to see them suffer.

We have gently helped many owners say goodbye with care, respect & in a stress free environment - your own home.

Many owners chat to us about quality of life & the concept of ‘rather a day early than a day too late’ & we are here for you to help you advocate for your pet at the right time for them, & for you.
