Evening all!
We just wanted to put a note out about dog beds that are being chewed up by our furry guests! Each plastic bed that we supply in each pen costs us £25.00 and from time to time we get dogs that chew them up. This week alone I have had to buy 3 new beds totalling £75 and this is a cost that we simply can’t afford to keep absorbing. Going forward, if your dog chews up a bed to where it becomes unusable for the next guest, we will have no option but to pass the cost onto yourselves. Photographic evidence will be sent to you so you are made aware and the cost will be added on to your pets stay.
You are still welcome to bring your own dog beds in but for hygiene reasons, as per our license conditions, they must be able to fit into the large plastic beds that we have to supply.
If you know your dog is a chewer, please make us aware at checkin and feel free to bring a chewable toy from home which may deter them from chewing the bed!
Sorry to have to do this but it is simply a cost that we can’t keep affording.
