A little update on the sweet little hamster who came to stay with me from work while recovering after getting her leg trapped. Some of you may have spotted her when dropping your guinea pigs off at the door. 🐹❤️
Sadly, she ended up having to have her leg amputated last week. Thankfully, she’s doing really well and has adapted amazingly to life on three legs. She’s such a brave little fighter!
Unfortunately, there was some sad news too. The little pet rat who was also staying with me while receiving treatment sadly had to be put to sleep. It was the kindest thing to do for her, although never an easy decision. 🌈🐀
Her sister, Daphine, now has three new baby rats to keep her company, and they are absolutely adorable. 🥰
Such tiny little creatures, but each with so much personality. I really do enjoy caring for all the little animals especially those in need. I've certainly been kept on my toes this summer!
