As another heatwave comes creeping in please be aware that the welfare of the dogs is always most important ‼️
I will be checking the weather app daily (hourly 🤣) and figuring out any adjustments that may be needed eg
🤎 starting walks earlier
🤎 shortening walks if necessary
🤎 cancelling walks
🤎 switching to check ins

I'm fully aware that the changes are not always convenient but I appreciate your understanding 💯

While I may be loosing money this week with the heatwave, changes & cancelled walks - the safety of all dogs in my care is always my first thought 💭

Most people say "I'd love your job in the summer" but there's so much more to it that people don't see 👀 saying that I also wouldn't swap it as all the dogs are my little besties 🤎

Fingers crossed for like 20 degrees MAX next week! 🤞🏻😅 So we can go back to doing what we do best 🐾

💦 KEEP YOUR PUP HYDRATED 💦

Unfortunately dogs are susceptible to overheating as they only rely on 1️⃣ panting 2️⃣ sweating to be able to regulate their temperature. However dogs do not have many sweat glands so this plays a minor role in actually cooling your dog down.

With temperatures being SO high please help your dog to stay cool by providing lots of fresh water, wetting your dogs paws and keeping them shaded 🤎
