Last minute cancellations and no shows are not just an empty slot in our diary. It's lost income that we can't usually replace at such short notice. We still have overheads to pay, including utilities, insurance, equipment, and staff wages, regardless of whether an appointment goes ahead.

Every appointment is reserved especially for your dog, meaning we've often turned away other customers who wanted that time. When you don't arrive or cancel at the last minute, that appointment is simply lost. Therefore we have to charge a fee of £15 per dog for those who cancel with less than 24 hours notice or those who no-show payable before you re-book.

We completely understand that emergencies happen, and we're always happy to be understanding when life throws the unexpected your way. All we ask is that, whenever possible, you give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or rearrange.

Your consideration and support mean the world to small businesses like ours. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who respect our time, turn up for their appointments, and help keep Puppy Dog Tails going strong. We truly appreciate every one of you and your amazing dogs. ❤️🐾
