🐾💜3 YEARS OF UNCLE LUKE 💜🐾

Three years ago today, Luke joined the daycare team … and honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without him now!💜

He has become so much more than a member of our team. He’s one of those people who just gets stuck in and gets things done. No job is ever too big, too small, or “not his problem”. If something needs doing, Luke is there.

And it’s not just us who adore him — the dogs absolutely love him. 🐶💜Whether he’s training, playing, caring for them or simply spending time with them, you can see how much they trust and love him. He has such a natural way with them, and watching the bond he builds with so many of our dogs is really special.

But what makes Luke so special to us is everything he does behind the scenes too.

Need a hand? Luke’s there.
Something needs fixing? Luke’s there.
Maintenance needs doing? Luke’s there.
Someone needs help? Luke’s there.
A dog needs some extra training? Luke’s there.
It’s his day off…? Somehow, Luke’s still there! 😂 The team have a running joke about him as he always seems to find a reason to be there on his days off no matter what😂

He genuinely goes above and beyond, and he never seems to think twice about helping. He’ll turn his hand to absolutely anything and always does it with the same care and commitment.

Over the last three years, he’s become such a massive part of our little daycare family. We appreciate the laughs, the hard work, the loyalty, the endless helping hand! Daycare wouldn’t be daycare without you💜

We honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to have alongside us🥰

Thank you for everything you do, every single day. Thank you for caring so much, for always stepping up and for giving so much of yourself to the dogs and to all of us.

Happy 3 years, Luke, we are sure you will celebrate it this weekend with a good drink!🍻🐾

A huge light has gone out this week at daycare💔

Our beautiful Tilly has gone over the rainbow bridge and we still can’t quite believe it😢 We received the heartbreaking phone call from Tilly’s mum Gemma yesterday and we are sending so much love to Gemma and family while they navigate through this difficult time💜

Tilly had been off daycare for a while as she had been recovering slowly and we were so excited to welcome her back soon we were only talking about it at the end of last week💔 She was one of those dogs who was quieter than a lot of others however she made such a huge impact on every person and dog she would meet! She was the kindest, softest, friendliest girl you could ever meet, always up for cuddles and would do absolutely anything for food😂

Tilly was adopted by Gemma through our Dogs 4 Rescue family almost 10 years ago now and she honestly lived the most amazing life. She was such a spoilt girl and was so lucky to have found Gemma who has treated her like a princess for so many years💜

She will always be remembered for her love for food as she would follow you everywhere if she knew there was even the tiniest treat in your pocket😂 but we will never forget the way she would take the younger dogs under her wing and show them the ropes of daycare. Most recently with Mindy who is a dog from Tilly’s family who joined our daycare a while back. They were so funny together, Mindy would always be jumping all over her and wanting to play and Tilly was always so patient with her🥺

Tilly really was one in a million and we are so grateful to have looked after her for so many years, Daycare 4 Dogs will never be the same without our Tilly R💔😢

Please join us in sending our love to Gemma and family as they navigate life without Tilly and remember the good times with her🌈😢💔
