There's a little more to my dog walking adventures than muddy boots, wagging tails and finding the perfect stick...
Something you might not know about me is that I'm also a qualified Lowland Leader with the Mountain Training Association, meaning I've undertaken specialist training and assessment in safely planning and leading walks in the great outdoors.
And while my four-legged adventurers might be more interested in sniffing every blade of grass than admiring the scenery, there's plenty going on behind the scenes when dogs join me for booked adventure walks.

🌦️ Weather awareness - Understanding conditions and knowing when plans need to change.
⛑️ Risk management & emergency procedures - Identifying hazards, making informed decisions and knowing how to respond if something goes wrong.
🌿 Outdoor leadership - Managing safety, wellbeing and the unexpected while exploring the countryside.
Working with dogs also brings its own additional considerations, from livestock and wildlife to individual behaviour, fitness and wellbeing.
