Hannah and Lady have had a HUGE confidence boost today. We have worked on position and how it can an influence on the horse and taken this through the transitions. Hannah has felt much better in the saddle and has even managed to trot a very uncomfortable Lady round most of the school. Hannah is her own worst critic and of course has picked out the parts she is unhappy with. Hannah Holt be proud of yourself and Lady today you have lifted a weight, broken a milestone and absolutely smashed it. Remember how your confidence was not so long ago well done! It will only get better from here.

Don’t we all just love our horses? But sometimes we just don’t know what to do, we get deflated, scared and lose our confidence. We buy a new horse or start loaning a pony and struggle to click with them. Sometimes we just need a helping hand and we need to know that this is ok.

I am here to help with any issues, concerns, confidence battles, or just something to do in the school.

With 20 years experience, I am an instructor who believes positivity and learning each horses language is the key. Even though my way may take more time it definitely works so much better, with our horses being happier.

These three are progressing so well together. Nice lunge lesson for Alfie this morning. We are working on his rising trot, as Belle is very unsure trotting with someone on her back, and is also super bouncy (I struggle myself) so lunging it is to support everybody with their balance. However they have trotted round fabulously today. Aisla has rode her up the lane as a cool off session, and its given her a chance to improve her confidence without pressure by holding the reins herself, halting, walking and turning. All in all a really good morning.
