🚨 MISSING CAT? 🚨

This handsome black-and-white boy has been brought into Manchester Vet Centre as a stray, and we’re hoping to find his owner! 🐈‍⬛❤️

He is a castrated male but unfortunately isn’t microchipped, so we’re unable to identify where he belongs.

He arrived with quite badly matted fur along his back, which was causing him discomfort, so we’ve had to clip the affected area to make him more comfortable. He’s also got fleas, so he’ll need a little TLC. ❤️‍🩹

🏡 Could he belong to you, or someone you know?

Please get in touch with Manchester Vet Centre or send us a message directly on Facebook or Instagram if you recognise him or think he could be your cat.

🙏 Please share this post to help us reunite him with his family. Let’s get this lovely lad back where he belongs! 🐾❤️

🎉 A huge congratulations to Melissa! 🐾💙

We’re so excited to share that our receptionist and ACA, Melissa, has officially started her journey to become a Student Veterinary Nurse! 🩺🐶🐱

Melissa has already become such a valued member of the Manchester Vet Centre team, working hard as part of our reception and nursing team, and we’re thrilled to see her take the next step in her career.

We know she’ll bring the same passion, dedication and love for animals into her nursing studies, and we can’t wait to watch her progress over the coming years! 🥰

Well done Melissa!! we’re all so proud of you! 💙🐾

Nobody:

Absolutely nobody:

Tom putting on his surgical gown:

Tom really thought he was heading to surgery but accidentally got accepted into Hogwarts 😭⚡️

Yer a vet, Tom. 🪄🐾

🧡🐈 Happy Ginger Cat Appreciation Day! 🐈🧡

Today we’re celebrating the ginger cats who bring a little extra fluff, mischief and mayhem into our lives! 😹

Whether they’re professional cuddle bugs, tiny troublemakers, dramatic food critics, or simply convinced the whole house belongs to them… ginger cats definitely have main character energy. ✨

And because we know our team members have some rather fabulous ginger kitties of their own, we couldn’t let the day pass without introducing you to a few of our team member kitties! 🥰🧡

📸 Swipe to meet them!

Now it’s your turn — drop a photo of your ginger kitty in the comments and tell us their name (and, if you’re brave, their funniest or naughtiest habit! 😹👇)

Let’s fill the comments with ginger goodness! 🧡🐾

🐾 Meet gorgeous Iggy! 💙🐶

Iggy the French Bulldog came to see us today for his Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) surgery. His surgery went very smoothly, he recovered beautifully and is doing brilliantly after his procedure. 🥰💤🎉

BOAS can affect flat-faced breeds like Frenchies, Pugs and Bulldogs 🐶❤️. Noisy breathing, snoring, exercise intolerance and overheating aren’t always “normal for the breed” and can be signs that your dog is struggling to breathe.

If you have a brachycephalic dog, why not book an assessment with our team? 🩺🐾 We can check their breathing and discuss ways to help them live a happier, more comfortable life. 💕✨

Well done, Iggy, you were a star and our team absolutely fell in love with you ⭐️🥰💙🐾
