At Avenue Veterinary Centre we care and treat all sorts of domestic pets.

Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, snakes, tortoises and more have been looked after for over 50 years.

Archie told his Mum that his mouth was sore but he wasn't very keen on anyone having a look. He had a senior Wellness Screening to check everything else was well ✅ before a full tooth examination and clean under anaesthetic 🦷
It was a good job he did - one of his big back molars had a hole all the way through it!! He should feel much better now it has been removed 🥰

Teddy had a smooth recovery after his dental procedure under the watchful eye of RVN Nic, then once up and about enjoyed some sunshine in the garden 🧡
He will feel much better with his gleaming teeth! 🦷

Another reminder for cat owners of the importance of microchipping your cats as so often we are unable to reunite these cats with their families.
Castration also helps to prevent wandering, helping to keep them safe as well as more unwanted kittens! 🐈

Although we mainly see dogs and cats, we have a variety of other small animals that need veterinary assistance. Our nursing team are fabulous at monitoring them all during procedures. Here we see Student Nurse Magda, with assistance from vet Hannah, monitoring little Snowdrop the hamster. You can see the monitoring equipment working on tiny patients too! Plus lots of effort to keep him nice and warm ❤️‍🩹
