Introducing Ozzie 🐾
At the grand old age of 16 it’s safe to say this little chap does not like being messed with. His mum asked for a short, practical cut to get rid of his matting and keep him comfortable in his twilight years so we took it nice and steady and focused on his welfare over his looks. It’s not the neatest, it’s not the tidiest, but he’s much more comfortable and will enjoy not having to be brushed so much. He left with a spring in his step and that’s what matters most ❤️🛁✂️

☀️ Hot weather warning ☀️

As the temperatures are still high this week, please do NOT walk your dogs to their appointment. If you can’t get to me via an air conditioned car message me to rearrange, late cancellation fees do not apply for this.

I will have the air con running in the salon, there will be plenty of cool water available and as usual in a UK heatwave there stands a good chance your dog will be coming home with damp ears/feet.

Heatstroke is a major risk for all dogs in this weather, but especially elderly dogs and short nosed breeds.

I’m sure by now, everybody here knows my Rhea and her constant “I’m definitely judging you” faces 😂

I took advantage of an early finish and gave her a much needed bath and deshed!

Fun fact, it took me just as long to clean up the German glitter afterwards as it did to actually groom her 🫣
