🐴 Equine Castration Clinics are coming to Station House Vets! 🐴

✅ Only £225 per c**t at the practice
✅ Done standing, using sedation and local anaesthetic, so no general anaesthetic is needed

📅 Clinic dates: Wed 4 Nov, Mon 9 Nov, Mon 23 Nov, Wed 25 Nov

Is your c**t eligible?
✔️ Both testicles must be descended
✔️ Aged 3 years or under
✔️ Up to date with tetanus vaccinations
✔️ Happy to be led and handled

🏡 Prefer us to come to you? We can do the castration at your yard for £225 plus our usual visit fee.

🍁Autumn is a great time of year to check as a seasonal spike in hormone release can compound any subtle increases from normal. The Talk About Laminitis scheme offers free laboratory tests in the Autumn and Spring to diagnose new cases as well as for treatment monitoring.

Visit and a £35 blood sample fee still apply but this scheme means an overall 25% saving from normal charges.

With less than 3 weeks to go, now is a good time to start preparing your pets for the loud bangs and flashing lights that come with firework season.
Whilst it is an exciting time of year for many, it can be overshadowed by concern for our pets.
We suggest you consider the following now to help them through the next 3-4 weeks:
- Build a den for your pets now and get them used to it in the lead up to bonfire night
- Book an appointment with our nurses to discuss natural supplements and other options which may help manage unwanted behaviours
- Ensure your pets ID is up to date (particularly if you've moved house ensure you've updated your contact details online)
- Create a routine for your pets which continues beyond the firework season
