This isn't something I'd like to be asking but it's something that needs to be approached with regards to future coverage... I only had ONE order from the Maelor's showjumping last Friday 🙈

I absolutely love the Maelor, the staff and the riders. You couldn't find a friendlier venue and I've already started to feel like a part of the furniture. It's a place I genuinely look forward to photographing at each time

However, I unfortunately can't give up hours of my time if people aren't interested in the photos. As much as I really do love photographing events, I also need to afford to eat 😆

This could be one bad week which has been desperately unlucky. It could be that people have been meaning to buy photos, and forgot. Or it could be that there just isn't the demand there.

If Maelor regulars could let me know in the comments whether they're interested in buying photos from future SJ competitions, I would be super grateful! I won't be offended if not, it's better that I know. The showing has always been great for photo sales, but for some reason the SJ had pretty low sales last time and was a washout this time...

Any input appreciated, just so I know if there is the demand there or not. Thanks! ✨

Hi all, just a quick reminder 🥺👉👈

It’s been brought to my attention that photos from the Area 20 competition over the weekend have been screenshot/recorded from the gallery and posted on social media by certain riders without being purchased.

I just want to politely remind everyone that this is theft. Until the images are purchased then screenshotting, even with the watermark, and posting/printing them is stealing.

My income relies on photo sales. I don’t get paid by venues or clubs, I get paid by all the riders who love their photos. Seeing that people love my photos enough to screenshot them and share them, but not enough to pay me the small amount for my work, is so upsetting.

Please guys, do better.

If you’re one of the people who’s taken my photos, I’ve seen 🙈 I’ve chosen not to turn it into a confrontation in case it was a genuine mistake. Please send me the money over and I’ll get the un-watermarked versions sent over to you. Let’s not steal from creatives just trying to make a living 🥹💓
