❤️ A little update from Cosy Cat Care ❤️

It is with a very heavy heart that I share the sad news that my lovely dad sadly passed away on 7th October.

As you can imagine, it has been an incredibly difficult time for me and my family, and I need a little time to grieve and be with my loved ones.

I would like to sincerely apologise to anyone whose booking has had to be cancelled, and to anyone who has experienced a delay in hearing back from me. Thank you so much for your patience, kindness and understanding during this time.

I will be returning to my Cosy Cat Care duties from 19th October. I really appreciate everyone bearing with me while I take this time out that I need.

I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent flowers, cards and such lovely messages of comfort and support. Every single one has meant so much to me and my family, and we are truly grateful. ❤️

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support my little business during such a difficult time.

🐾It’s been a tough week🐾
This week two beautiful babies I have had the honour in caring for went to kitty heaven.
I just wanted to send my love and condolences to their owners as losing a pet is so hard.
Charlie & Mickey you were both the sweetest souls and I love you dearly.
You will be greatly missed.

For anyone who might not know, here’s a little bit about how my pet-sitting service works and what you can expect when your furry friends are in my care! 🥰🐱

🏡 SO, HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

Whether you’re heading off on holiday, visiting family or just need someone to pop in and look after your pets, you can drop me a WhatsApp, Facebook message or give me a call.

🐾 THE MEET & GREET

Before your trip, I’ll pop round to your home for a lovely little meet and greet. This is where we get to know each other, and you can show me the ropes!

We’ll have a chat about everything your pets need, from their favourite foods and feeding times to litter trays, outdoor adventures and all those funny little quirks that make them who they are. ❤️

Does your cat need medication? No problem at all! 💊🐱

Got a nervous kitty who needs a little extra patience? Or a cheeky one who likes to cause mischief? 😂 We’ll go through it all so I know exactly how to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away.

And remember, it’s not just cats! 🥰

I’m more than happy to look after your dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, tortoises, fish and all sorts of other little family members, too! 🐶🐹🐢🐠❤️

🔑 GETTING EVERYTHING READY

Once we’ve had our meet and greet and gone through all the important details, I’ll arrange to collect your key, so everything is sorted before you head off.

📸 WHILE YOU’RE AWAY

This is where the magic happens! ✨

While you’re off enjoying your holiday, I’ll be popping in to give your pets all the love, fuss, food and care they need, right in the comfort of their own home. 🏡❤️

And, of course, I know how much you miss them when you’re away, so I’ll keep you updated with lots of lovely photos, videos and little updates about what they’ve been getting up to.

Whether they’re having a snooze, enjoying their dinner or getting up to their usual mischief, you’ll get to see it all! 🥹🐾

Once you’ve arrived home safely, I’ll either pop your key through the letterbox or arrange a time to drop it back to you. Easy peasy! ❤️

🐾 A little note about visit times 🐾

I just wanted to pop this on my page as a little reminder about how I organise my cat visits. ❤️

When booking with Cozy Cat Care, I’m always happy to work around an approximate time for visits wherever possible — for example, morning or evening, or within a general time window.

As I have multiple cats to visit throughout the mornings and evenings, I plan my route carefully to make sure I can give everyone the time, care and attention they deserve. I generally work outwards from home and then work my way back in, which helps me keep my travelling time sensible and allows me to fit in as many visits as possible.

Because of this, I unfortunately can’t guarantee an exact visit time. Things like traffic, roadworks, weather, a cat needing a little extra attention, or simply a visit taking longer than expected can all affect the timings of the visits that follow. 🐱

If your cat has a particular routine or you need a visit at an exact specified time, I’m more than happy to discuss this with you. However, timed visits would need to be arranged separately and would be subject to an additional charge, as I would need to structure my entire route around that specific time.

🐾 A little Cozy Cat Care update… 🐾

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent me such lovely messages, well wishes and support while my dad has been poorly in hospital. ❤️

It’s been a really busy 4 weeks, trying to juggle Cozy Cat Care, home life and hospital visits, but I’m so grateful for every single one of you who has taken the time to check in, send a message or simply send some love my way.

Hopefully! Dad should be home next week 🤞🏻❤️

I’ve tried my best not to let everything going on affect my work with Cozy Cat Care. In fact, looking after all your gorgeous cats has been such an amazing distraction for me. There’s something very therapeutic about having a house full of happy cats to cuddle and care for! 🐱❤️

And now for a little happier update…

Our newest family member — Monty Bleu! 🐾💙

Monty Bleu is doing really well, and I’ve been getting regular updates on him. We’re hoping to welcome him into our family at the end of September / beginning of October, and I honestly cannot wait! 🥰

For everyone who has asked about him, here’s a recent picture of our gorgeous boy. 💙🐱

🐾 THAT’S A WRAP FOR THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS! 🐾☀️

And just like that… the summer holiday madness at Cozy Cat Care is officially a wrap! 🐱💕

What an incredible six weeks it’s been! I’ve had the absolute pleasure of looking after around 35 gorgeous cats and completing 300+ visits! 😱🐾

From shy little ones, to confident characters demanding cuddles, playtime and treats… every single one has stolen a little piece of my heart. ❤️

My diary has been absolutely FULL, my car has probably done more miles than I have 😂, and I’ve loved every single minute of it!

A HUGE thank you to every one of my lovely clients for trusting me with your precious fur babies while you’ve been away. It really does mean the world to me. 🥰

Now for a little breather…😂🐾
