☀️🌴 GROOMING MARVELLOUS IS ON HOLIDAY! 🌴☀️

Just a little heads-up to all my lovely customers — I’m currently away in sunny Crete 🇬🇷🍹 and I won’t be back until 9th September.

I’m taking a proper little break, so messages may not be read or replied to while I’m away. Please don’t panic if you don’t hear back from me — I’m not ignoring you, I’m just swapping dog hair for sunshine for a couple of weeks 😂🐶➡️☀️

I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I can once I’m home and back to work.

☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER NOTICE 🐾☀️

I know this really isn’t what anyone wants to read, especially when you’ve been waiting for your appointment! 🙈❤️

But as I’m sure you’re all aware, we’ve got some very hot weather heading our way this week 🥵☀️

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the temperatures inside the grooming van, and if at any point I feel it’s getting too hot or unsafe for your dog to be groomed, I will contact you to rearrange your appointment.

As frustrating as it is (for me too! 😩), your dogs’ health, safety and comfort will always come first. Grooming can be hard work for them at the best of times, and I just won’t take any chances in extreme heat. 🐶❤️

Thank you, as always, for being so understanding and patient with me. Hopefully the British weather will do what it normally does and change its mind! 😂🌧️

Just a little update from me at Grooming Marvellous. 🐾

Unfortunately, I’ve badly hurt my back after lifting a dog and have had to take a few days off to recover. Anyone who knows me knows I hate letting people down, and having time off is never an easy decision, but at the moment I need to give my back a chance to heal properly.

I know quite a few of you have messaged about booking appointments, and I just wanted to reassure you that I have seen all of your messages. I haven’t ignored anyone! Before I reply, I need to work through my diary and rearrange the appointments I’ve had to postpone so I know exactly what spaces I have available.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and kindness. I’m incredibly grateful to have such lovely clients, and I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I can.

☀️ A little weather update from Grooming Marvellous… 🐾

Well… it looks like summer has finally decided to show off! 🥵

As much as I’d love to see all your lovely doggies this week, Mother Nature might have other plans.

Being a mobile groomer means the grooming area in my van can be 3–5°C hotter than the outside temperature, and no haircut is worth risking the health of your dog (or me looking like I’ve been through the wash and spin cycle! 😂).

If the temperature becomes too much, I may have to rearrange appointments at short notice. Any decisions will be made on the day, based on the weather and what’s safest for everyone.

Please don’t think I’m trying to get out of work, I promise I’m not! I’d much rather be grooming than trying to juggle my diary. But your dog’s welfare will always come first. ❤️

And while we’re talking about the heat… PLEASE remember those pavements can get VERY hot. If it’s too hot for the back of your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. They may not complain but their paws will definitely feel it!!

Thank you all for your understanding, patience and support. Hopefully this heatwave doesn’t last too long, and normal service will be resumed before we all melt! ☀️🫠💛

A big welcome to handsome little Rodney for his first groom with me today 🖤🐾

He was a little unsure at first, but quickly realised there were cuddles, and lots of fuss involved 🥹
Such a sweet boy and an absolute pleasure to groom 💙
