A little California update 🌴🐋

We’re somehow already nearly a week into our holiday and, unsurprisingly, we've spent a large percentage of it looking at animals 👀

So far there have been whales, sea lions, sea otters, some very good dogs, a lot of walking, beautiful sunsets and plenty of time just watching the world go by.

It’s been so lovely to properly switch off for a little while, although we clearly can’t go very long without finding animals wherever we are.

Hope everyone back home is doing well (yes, we are missing all the dogs so much!)

And just like that… we’re officially out of office!

After a very busy few weeks and finishing on an incredible £500 raised for Dunrunnin Greyhound Rescue through our Miles for Hounds challenge, it’s time for a little break.

Jayne is heading back to uni, and I’m heading off on honeymoon, so Redefined Dog is now closed for a few weeks. We’ll be back to normal from Monday 19th October.

Messages and emails may take a little longer to get a reply while I’m away. Behaviour clients can still reach out via WhatsApp if you need support, and I’ll get back to you when I can.

A huge thank you to everyone who walked with us, sponsored us, shared our fundraiser and cheered us on. Raising £500 was such a lovely way to finish this little chapter before some well-earned time off. 🧡

We had the most wonderful morning meeting the team behind ❤️
We got to spend time with Sparky, Fairy, Kranky, Justin, Hilda, Presley and Freckles - all who are looking for their forever sofas!

We are currently at 95 miles done, only 5 to go!

Sometimes the environment does a lot of the work for us.
Give dogs enough space and suddenly there are more choices available move away, move closer, stop, sniff, paddle, watch, explore.
It’s one of the reasons I love walks like this. Not because every dog needs a beach, but because having room to make choices can completely change how a dog experiences a walk.
