On Sunday, I updated my first aid training with the wonderful 🐾

The session covered both theory and hands-on practical tasks, ensuring my knowledge is fully up to date across all areas of first aid.

Providing the highest level of care for your pups is incredibly important to me.

Staying trained means I can minimise risks, recognise early signs of potential emergencies, and respond appropriately if a situation arises.

While we always hope first aid is never needed, whether I’m in the salon or out in public, I’m confident, compliant, and prepared to act should a pup require immediate care.

I’m reflecting on the last few months and have a bursting heart as I officially close the doors until January for my Christmas break.

Since returning from maternity leave a few months ago, I’ve been overwhelmed by your kindness.

I want you all to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you for choosing me. I get to do a job that I simply love every single day, and that is entirely down to the trust you place in me.

Seriously, without you all being so bloody brilliant, I wouldn’t get to do this. You really are the best, and I’m one very lucky doggo groomer!

I’ve been absolutely spoilt this year with beautiful cards, chocolates, prosecco, biscuits, and incredibly thoughtful gifts and tips. I am so, so grateful for your generosity.

I’ll be taking this time off to soak up some quality time with my friends and family. I can’t wait to see you all (and your pups!) in 2026—though I might be returning just a few pounds heavier from all the treats!

Enjoy the festivities and, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

Now more than ever we all have extra treats and foods that can be extremely dangerous around our pups please be extra careful particularly when visiting other family member and friends houses to ensure we avoid an emergency vet visit.
