I'm in my roaring twenties, juggling life with my two fluffy companions, Olive and Beans. Olive, the stunning Maltese, struts her stuff at two years old. And then there's Beans, the three-year-old sweet mix of who-knows-what, and I wouldn't have him any other way. With Olive & Beans by my side through my mental health journey, they sparked the birth of this brand.

🐾SOUL DOGS. THE ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME KIND OF LOVE🤍

Some dogs come into our lives and leave pawprints on our hearts. Others become a part of our souls.

I often question who rescued who? Beans came into my life on the day I was discharged from my first hospital admission as a teenager and little did I know he would have the impact that he has had. We rescued him from a puppy farm, at only 6 weeks old he was in an awful state and ultimately lost his hearing as a result.

Soul dogs are the ones who find us when we need them most. The ones who sit beside us through our darkest days, who love us when we struggle to love ourselves, and who somehow know exactly when we need them without us saying a single word.

They’re not just dogs. They’re our safe place, our reason to get out of bed, our comfort when the world feels too much and sometimes, the very reason we keep going.

There are people all over the world whose lives have been changed, and sometimes saved, by the love of a dog.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to be supporting One Wish Dog Foundation 🤍

At Olive & Beans, we’ve made the decision to donate the remainder of our old stock to One Wish Dog Foundation, rather than letting perfectly lovely products sit unused.

Because these accessories deserve to be worn, loved and enjoyed. And if they can help make even a small difference along the way, that means far more to us than leaving them on a shelf.

For me, giving back isn’t just something we do when it’s convenient; it’s part of why Olive & Beans exists.

I started this business because two little dogs showed me that love can make the biggest difference in someone’s life.

And now, through Olive & Beans, I hope we can pass a little of that kindness on.

Because every dog deserves to feel loved. And every soul dog deserves to know just how special they are. 🐾

If you haven’t already, check out One Wish Dog Rescue. Their work is incredible and really touched my heart when I heard about them on the radio yesterday.
