The countdown has begun to our DBARC Doggie Day on Sunday 15th September. 11am to 4pm

Here are some fun things for your dog to do on the day!

* Dog Show - With 11 classes to enter and rosettes down to 6th place!

* Dog Scurry - How fast can your dog run? Fastest dog of the day wins a prize!

* Tennis Ball Tombola - The colour ball your dog chooses determines the prize!

* Have a Go Flyball! - Has your dog got what it takes to become a Flyball star?

* Temptation Alley - Can your dog resist temptation on a recall?

* Obedience Game - How good is your dog's sit, down, stay?

We are really looking forward to seeing lots of Canine friends and hopefully lots of DBARC dogs with their loving families!

A little bit of help at Dbarc rescue center yesterday

We’d like to say a very BIG thank you to Penny at Paws at Penny's for popping along yesterday to groom our special boy Flurry 😘
We’ve had little Flurry for several months now - he was saved from the meat trade in China & sponsored by Mad about Schnauzers UK who paid for his treatment before coming to the U.K. & paid for him to come over to DBARC.
Poor Flurry was found with badly infected eyes which both needed removing so he’s obviously totally blind.
We cannot imagine the suffering this poor guy has been through in his past which has left him with some psychological scars as he can be very wary of some people.
Luckily for Flurry he has been offered a home, a chance of a life filled with love & happiness - leaving his horrible past behind.
We wish Flurry all the luck in the world - & thank the people who have been helping him along the way 🙏 🥰 💜

What a transformation. She is only 5 months and came in for her first handstripping session. She was a little angel.

We are open as usual, dog groomers are still able to continue grooming so any appointments booked this week will still go ahead. Any problems please let me know asap as I have a waiting list for appointments
