Handsome chap 😍 ☀️

Sun is shining and so is our Sunny! What a beautiful day we ended up with after the downpour this morning 🌧️

Took full advantage of the weather and gave our lovely old boy a little pamper 🫶🏼

I really am so lucky to have such a beautiful herd of horses 🍀 🐎

That’s it, we’re full up 😍

Although not sure the phrase ‘full up’ is quite right here…meet the littlest pony to have ever walked on Higher Fence Farm! 🤪

Little cutie pie Sky! 💕

She walked off the box, straight onto the yard and made it very clear that she lives here now! Settled in perfectly and already enjoying her new home! 🏡

Welcome to the mad house little one 😍

Another great visit with Mark Tabachnik from Cheshire Equine Dentistry for half of the herd.

All routine rasping with a little extra for Ginny with being a baby. Wolf teeth have both erupted so they’re due to come out on our next visit.

Got myself another little cap off G and obviously had a good feel of everyone’s 🦷 🤣

Wowzers!!

It’s been a busy few months at HQ and also covering summer hols for some of my wonderful clients and horses!

Autumn is on her way and to be honest after the summer we’ve had I’m looking forward to the cooler nights and frosty mornings!

Thank you as always to my wonderful clients…I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you guys! I am truly grateful!

Hopefully I’ll be back posting updates soon of where we’re up to…exciting news as well! We’ve got our last space filled!

Arriving next week, we’re all very excited! Keep an eye out for a little update 💕

Have the best weekend!

🌧️ Wait!! Hold the phone!!

🛌 Went to bed and it was raining, woke up and it was raining!

🐎 Went to check the ponies and found a couple of hippos in their place 🤣

🥇 As always our Gold has won (hooves down) gold for filthiest, most hippo like pony!

💃🏻 The rain dancing worked 🥳

Mother, surely you need some help there 🐈‍⬛ Weighing down the hay so it doesn’t blow away🤣Thanks Poppy 🫶🏼🤪

I really, really, really hate you 🌱

Afternoon ‘off’ so I decide to trek down the field to find ragwort!!

For those that don’t know me, I’m a tad obsessive 🤪🤏 So 1.5hrs later I’ve broken the back of it, and my back as well apparently 🤣

The joys of horses and land management 🫠

Just kidding…love the herd 🐎 Still hate ragwort!

💦 In heatwaves, we hose!

🐎 Ponies all had a thorough soaking yesterday before coming in to cool off and dry out.

🪰 Flies are still heavy so another day in today, the Hedgewitch seems to be doing well after the first application tomorrow

💨 Lovely breeze today

🥵 Anyway we survived the heatwave, ponies as always did amazingly well whilst I melted and moaned about how hot it was 🤣

🌱 But it did allow us to get the hay in, which is always a weight off the mind

🚿 Also featuring one of my lovely client’s ponies enjoying a little cool off Andraya Hiscock

Interesting read!

I swell up like an absolute balloon. If I get a horse fly bite, it’s a 50/50 chance whether I’m off to A&E / Pharmacy etc.

Some of the horses get so worked up and others you wouldn’t think there was such things 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve just ordered some Hedgewitch to see how me and the herd get on. Recommended by one of my lovely clients.

Fingers crossed it keeps the monsters away 😩🫠
