My very own babies πβ€οΈ
I've been quiet on here for a while, but only because I'm so very busy behind the scenes of looking after my poorly Dane boy.
He's only 19 months and a couple of months ago he was diagnosed with early stage heart failure π alongside a kidney absess, and a stomach ulcer.
He's been in and out of a specialist hospital for months. Now it is a case of making sure he is stable and making his days as happy as can be.
Every spare second I get inbetween walking all of your fabulous kiddos is spent nipping back home to check on him, getting his meds in, trying to get him to eat... especially in this heat we've had lately, as he had a bout of congestive heart failure a few weeks ago, likely due to the heatwave.
Every evening is quality time spent with my boy whilst I still can. Monitoring his breathing rate/min multiple times throughout, monitoring his heart rate, making sure he's not too hot, not too cold, not too lively, being concerned if he's not, balancing being a young happy dog vs protecting his heart, trying to get him to eat with cooking fresh foods which can be a battle, and not going to bed myself until he's asleep so I can monitor his rest rates again.. and of course doing my best making sure my girl doesn't feel left out too β€οΈ
So apologies, if I forget to update you with photos or videos, be sure this is the reason why.
My camera roll is full to the brim of photos of your kiddos, I just forget to send them! π€¦ββοΈ
