Runmydogs.com RunMyDogs is a Canine Exercise unit that comes directly to your home or workplace. A lot of behavioural issues are due to excess energy the dog has.

I exercise your dog for 30 minutes in a modified vehicle using a 'best in class' (motorless) treadmill designed specifically for dogs. You only need to do this once or twice a week max to fulfill your canine fitness needs complimenting your usual daily walks. Dogs have hit speeds of over 30 mph and cover 4 miles in less than 20 mins, so imagine having all that available to you but you are tethered

to a human doing 4 mph, even when you let a dog off the lead they will run for a bit then get a scent of something and stop to sniff, walking for a dog is more of a social thing and not proper exercise, bit like a human at a funfair going from one thing to the next, compared to a human working out in a gym for an hour. Remember it will be stupidly hot today in the UK, so leave your dogs at home and take them for a walk later when it's cooled off and don't burn their paws on the pavements.

It's a workout not a walk.

The vets says his weight is spot on at 24kg, he now runs through 5 miles on top incline in 30 mins like its a walk in the park, he is on raw food that naturally gives him more energy and has been working out like this once a week since January. 10 mins after the run he isn't even panting anymore but is very mellow and happy the way a dog should be. If you are coming back from your walks and your the dog is shattered after an hour of light trotting that isn't a good sign of their fitness If your child went for a run around the block and had to go to bed because they were tired you would be very concerned about their fitness...its no different for your dog. The oldest dog in the world died at 30 and ate raw food and ran an average of 12.5 miles a day everyday (taken from the book The Forever Dog).

Some people have concerns about the welfare of a dog using this equipment, the dog has full control as there is no motor, if the dog doesn't like it it won't do it but if they do take to it the dog will benefit from developing a whole stronger body and a more balanced mind. Your dog can do what it wants, walk or sprint, but on this equipment it can sprint for as long as it chooses. Its a bit like fly ball apart from the dog is not moving but the floor is.
