🎉 A huge congratulations is in order for our Georgie! 🎉

Georgie joined us in September 2021 as a receptionist before starting her Veterinary Nurse training in April 2023. Today, she found out that she has successfully passed her final practical examinations (OSCEs)! 🥳💚

There have been plenty of exams, assignments and, of course, the dreaded online portfolio to complete along the way — so reaching this point is a fantastic well deserved achievement.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything Georgie has worked so hard to achieve. Well done, Georgie! 👏🏻🎓

And I’m afraid all our clients are going to have to get used to seeing her in yet another uniform colour, as she’ll soon be joining the team in all green! 💚

🐾 Look how much Vance has grown! 🐾

Last November, our vets met Vance, an adorable puppy guide dog in training, and we shared his very first visit with you. 💙

Fast forward to this Tuesday and Vance was back with us for his neutering — and we thought you’d all appreciate seeing what a handsome boy he’s grown into! 🥰

He’s still very much in training, but it won’t be long before he heads off for the final stage of his training and assessment. 🎓🐕‍🦺

We’ve loved watching him grow and wish Vance lots of luck for the next stage of his journey! 🍀💙

We’ll be keeping our fingers (and paws!) crossed for you, Vance! 🐾

💔 Can you help us find Lucy’s family? 🐾

Sadly, yesterday a gentleman brought a recently deceased cat into the practice. She was microchipped, but unfortunately the chip is registered to an address outside the local area and, despite our attempts, we have so far been unable to make contact using the details we have.

Her name is Lucy, and she is a long-haired calico cat.

We are sharing this post in the hope that she may have been adopted locally, and that her new family could be wondering what has happened to her. ❤️

We have just had a young female blue pointed Siamese/ Siamese cross brought into us that was trapped in their garage in High Legh. She is likely an indoor cat and clearly well looked after but sadly not microchipped. Please call us on 📞 01925949949 if you think this is your cat.

Today we’ve been celebrating all things DOG! 🐾❤️ And what better way than with a little snapshot of some of the lovely patients we’ve had in at Burford Lane Vets today.

🐾HAPPY FRIDAY!! 🐾

Today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting these 13 gorgeous 7-week-old Great Dane puppies for their puppy health checks and first vaccinations! 🥰💉

All belonging to their lovely mum Molly, these gentle giants certainly made quite an impression on the team! ❤️

There were plenty of cuddles, waggy tails, curious noses and, understandably, a LOT of excitement. We think everyone may have been just a little distracted from their usual duties! and it was a quite a mission checking them over and vaccinating them all! 😂🐶

It was fantastic to see such a happy, healthy litter and we wish Molly and all 13 of her beautiful babies the very best as they start their next adventure. 🐾❤️

Nine puppies. One vet. Zero chance of everyone looking at the camera! 📸😂

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Boo’s gorgeous litter of NINE Golden Retriever puppies to Burford Lane Vets for their first vaccinations and microchips a week ago. 💉🐶

Safe to say they completely stole our hearts (and maybe a little bit of our productivity too!).

One of our Vets Alexi was tasked with the important job of making sure each puppy got off to the healthiest start in life, while the rest of the team did their best to help with the “official” photos…

…although the puppies had other ideas! 🤣 From perfectly posed portraits to complete puppy chaos, we loved every second.

Thank you to Boo’s family for letting us share such a special milestone. Wishing all nine little adventurers the happiest, healthiest lives with their wonderful new families. ❤️
