It's our D Day aswell as the 82nd anniversary of the actual D Day.
3 years ago, hubby & I became full time carers & then.special guardians to the Boys.
It's been 3 years of very emotional times but far more happier moments . Seeing Logan & River grow from the little ones they were to now has been a shared journey. Knowing that we were able to & will continue to give them a life every child deserves feels quite special. Every child should grow up knowing they are loved, cared for, supported & safe.
Life changed dramatically for us but we wouldn't change anything.
We are giving them a life where many many memories have already been made & will continue to be made

I'm feeling rather "chuffed".
This lovely fella is TC. He's in his senior years & is very timid & becomes scared very easily.
When I initially met TC, he wouldn't come anywhere near me so.i sat on the stairs (he was upstairs looking at me) & talked to him. Within a few mins, TC slowly came towards me & just sniffed my hand.
I've since visited him & each time we've progressed. This morning was the best visit. TC was sat looking out of the kitchen window when I arrived. He then jumped down & I thought he'd run to hide but no, he greeted me at the door. He let me make a real fuss of him which was fantastic.
He stayed with me whilst I sorted his breakfast buffet out too.
To quote his owner.." you've officially made it to his approved servant list"
