I am having a lot of very late pick ups, which is causing me to have to move other appointments around in order to accommodate which in turn is making me run late and try to catch up, its not fair on me, my clients or their dogs.
This is in effect as of today. So please take the time to read and make note.

Canine Couture Terms and Conditions
Your Pet Health
• You must inform the groomer of any existing medical conditions your dog may have
• If your pet appears unwell of the time of the appointment, they will not be accepted for grooming due to the risk of cross contamination to other pets
• Dogs will not be accepted who have had anaesthetic within the last 48 hours or has received a surgical procedure which requires stitches. The dog must be fully healed and recovered before a grooming appointment can take place
• Dogs will not groomed if they have been microchipped within the last 24 hours
• It is recommended that puppies should wait at least a week after their 2nd vaccination before attending their first puppy groom
• Bi***es who are in whelp or nursing will not be accepted for a groom
• If your pet is to be found to have fleas, a fee of £15 will be added to the cost of the groom due to your pet having to have a flea treatment whilst here and the shop will then have to be disinfected/fumigated afterwards
• Any pet that is deemed at the discretion of the groomer to be in need of immediate veterinary attention will receive this and you agree that you will be liable for any resulting additional costs
Matted Dogs
• I will endeavour to groom your pet to your requirements, however if your pet(s) coat is excessively matted, the matted coat will be clipped (shaved) out. Depending on the severity of the matting, which will be discussed during your pet(s) consultation, there may be an additional charge in addition to the grooming price, as groomers, our primary concern is to relieve any distress and/or discomfort your pet(s) may be experiencing as a result of their severely or excessively matted coat
Appointments
• I require 24 hour's notice (48 hours if 2 or more dogs on one appointment) for appointment cancellations
• A deposit of £20 will be required for each dog to secure each booking, this can be paid either by card/contactless, bank transfer or cash in the salon
• Please ensure you take all precautions not to miss your appointment
• Late cancellations will incur a loss of your £20 deposit
• Missed appointments aka no shows with no communication prior to the appointment time will incur loss of the £20 deposit. A 15-minute grace period at my discretion is given for unforeseen circumstances on the date i.e. traffic, etc.
• A new appointment can be given if you so choose however another deposit of £20 must be taken before new appointment is booked in
• If you are consistently late or miss appointments, then you may be refused any further appointments and be removed from my records
• Any dog which is not collected within 15 minutes of being notified that their dog is ready for pick up will incur an additional charge of £5 for every 15 minutes thereafter
• Payment is due on collection, payment can be paid via card or cash, no bank transfer or cheques are accepted once groom has been completed.
• Please ensure your pet has had the opportunity to relieve themselves before coming for their grooming appointment, this will ensure that they will get the maximum enjoying out of their grooming session.
• Please do not feed your dog 30 minutes before their grooming session but please make sure they are well hydrated. Water is offered throughout the groom however some dogs don't always feel comfortable drinking during this time.
• Whilst every care is taken to ensure the safety of your pet during their grooming session any pet is left at owners own risk
• Canine Couture reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet without reason
• Canine Couture reserves the right to refuse any customer without reason
• Canine Couture reserves the right to cancel a groom if it would affect the welfare of the dog or there is a risk of injury to myself or the dog.
• Canine Couture will not be held responsible for any loss of personal items during the appointment
• I will not groom any dog that must be registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, the Dangerous Dogs (Amendment) Act 1997 or any further amendments to this act.
• Any dogs that are aggressive towards myself or others, will not be accepted for grooming and will most probably be better suited with a grooming salon with more than one member of staff. It is the owner's responsibility to inform the groomer of any behavioural issues before appointment is made. Failing to do so will result in the appointment being terminated and a loss of the £20 deposit
• Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken to prevent it, Canine Couture will not accept any responsibility for any loss, injury, death or illness suffered by your pet whilst in my care, except to the extent that I am unable to limit or extend my liability
• Your dog may be photographed before, during and after their groom. Photographs may be used on social media or other printed materials, and for my future records.
• If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your pet's groom, please let me know within 3 working days (preferably, before you leave). Reasonable requests to alter the trim will be dealt with immediately or changes noted for their next groom.
• Please don't leave negative feedback before contacting me first, I take great pride in the work I do and want all my clients to feel the same.
Canine Couture has the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
