Love cats? If you do we have the purrfect volunteer role for you! 🐱

The Cattery at our Centre in Huncote is caring for 50 cats and kittens at the moment, and really need some extra help. 🐱 We are looking for cleaning volunteers to join our team to help keep our Cattery sparkling for our residents. So, if you have a few hours to spare each week then this could be pawfect for you!

Cleaning is in the morning and volunteers arrive between 8.15am and 8.30am and stay until the cleaning is finished. The length of time depends on staff levels and number of cats, so it could be longer or shorter. Volunteers are always welcome to stay and socialise with the residents. 🐱 We have opportunities available every morning, apart from Wednesdays.

Update: Luna strolled up the garden path this morning without a care in the world wondering what all the fuss is about 💕🐾

Help Needed – Missing Cat 🐾

This beautiful girl is Luna, who I look after alongside her brother, Salem. Sadly, she’s been missing from her home in Ullesthorpe since Wednesday.

Please could everyone keep an eye out for her? She has very distinctive markings, is incredibly friendly, and is likely to approach people if she feels safe.

If you think you’ve seen her, please let me know or contact her owner Ray Mills as soon as possible.

Good Morning All!

Sorry I’ve been so quiet on here recently life is a little bit crazy!

I’ve been asked by a vet nurse friend if I wouldn’t mind popping Daffodil on here to see if anyone would like to rehome her, she was handed in to the vets as a pregnant stray - since then she has had her two babies who have found their forever homes but now mummy Daffodil is looking for her forever lap to snuggle on.

*note from the vets*

She is a very nervous cat, but with time has started to come out of her shell with a patient owner giving her time. We will be neutering and microchipping her. We believe she is about 8/9 months of age herself 🐾

🐾 Please meet Alice – our newest Purrfect Pawsitter! 🐾

As Purrfect Pawsitter continues to grow and gets busier (thank you so much for your support! 💛), it’s really important to us that we can continue to provide the highest level of care for every single cat we look after. That’s why we’re so happy to welcome Alice to the team!

Alice has a lifelong love of animals and a wealth of hands-on experience. She helped run her dad’s horse rescue, caring for a wide variety of animals including horses, pigs, sheep, cows, peacocks, cats, parrots, dogs, and small mammals – so your pets are in very capable hands.

She’s also previously worked as a dog walker, giving her great experience with pet routines, behaviour, and enrichment.

At home, Alice has a cat called Gengi and a spaniel named Tormund, so she truly understands how important it is to trust someone with your pets. 🐶🐱
