​Looking for an affectionate, active, and breathtakingly colourful bird? We have gorgeous Rainbow Lorikeets ready for their new forever homes, and we’d love to see them settled this week!
​With their bright red beaks, royal blue heads, vibrant green wings, and fiery orange-yellow chests, they are easily some of the most striking parrots you’ll ever see. They are packed with personality, playful, and thrive in an engaged home (living 15 to 25+ years with proper care).

​⚠️ IMPORTANT: The Lorikeet Diet (Not Seed Eaters!)

​Lorikeets are unique! Unlike standard parrots, they have specialized, brush-tipped tongues designed in the wild for drinking nectar and gathering pollen. They cannot digest standard hard bird seeds or bread—feeding seeds can cause severe illness and malnutrition.
​Their setup is simple once you know the routine:

​🥣 Specialist Nectar: They need a dedicated wet or dry lorikeet nectar mix. We strongly recommend CéDé Lorikeet Food (we also stock Versele-Laga). Our breeder has used CéDé for years with fantastic results, so you know your bird is getting the absolute best nutrition from day one.

​🍎 Fresh Fruit Daily: Offer soft, sweet fruits like apples, pears, grapes, and melons.

​🧽 Fresh Bowls: Because nectar mixtures can ferment quickly in warm room temperatures, food should be refreshed at least twice daily and bowls kept spotless.

Its coming along now to the final stages with our first day opened going to be the 30th october.
So we can cater for those attending the holloween animal event also although its a big ask we will have nk choice but to finish even if we have to man it ourselves on the night.

Lurgan holloween show with Jurassic ark.

It should be clear but we must stress again its £10 per ticket.
There is 30 tickets and 30 seats.

Adults are free entry when accompanying a paying child but they will be asked to stand behind their child's chair. Obviously throughout the show the aim will be to offer as much engagement with thoae seated where there is oppourtunity adults may also be offered the oppourtunity but there is a lot of animals in the show to get through on the night.

So if you are wishing to fully participate in the event yourself it is advised to purchase a seat.
