🐾Bit of a different post today but we would really like to find this lovely boy his forever home 🥰

This is bruiser the whippet, who my friend rescued after someone came to them saying they either take him or they will sort it, which we can all guess what that meant (he had a farm so dogs were used for working but he wasn’t born a worker bless him). She has rehabilitated him over the last year and a bit into a family home and his an amazing little dog!

As I say above, she had 2 children ages 6 and 11 and his amazing with them
He lives with their other dog and cats however she recommends a cat free home as he does chase them.

He is crate trained as he is crated of an evening and when they are out of the house

As someone who has had the pleasure of being around this gorgeous boy, he is more cut out for a lap to lay on rather then work full time 😂🥰

Just a quick message to say I am not ignoring anyone who has messaged my work number, my daughters have taken my charger for my work phone away with them so I have no way of charging it 😂🫣. I’ve ordered a new one coming tomorrow so will get back to everyone tomorrow evening

Leg update number 1000 😂😭🫣!

I would like to keep everyone in the loop as much as possible in regards to the journey with my leg and the next stages!
I went back into hospital to have my 2 week post op follow up on Tuesday (30th June) and all is going in the right direction finally. However, my leg has a way of looking like it wants to heal and changing its mind ! I have been referred to the plastic surgeons as a next step meaning another surgery if things decide to go backwards again and they strongly advised on taking another 2 weeks off on bed rest to allow my ankle to fully heal

Due to rearranging customers appointments so much over the last 11 months from appointments and previous procedures, I am very cautious I don’t want to do that again and with the hot weather that your pups don’t miss out! So I am back to work in the salon, I have had to move some of you to lesson the work load so thankyou to those for moving however I am still fully booked. I am taking every day as it comes regarding my leg and ankle and if at all I feel things are heading backwards I will have to take the advised time off. I am just wanting to give as much of a pre warning as possible that if anyone’s dogs are due over the next 2 weeks, I will try my up most to make sure they still have their appointments but please forgive me if I do have to move you quite last minute. This leg is kind of the decision maker 😭🫣
I really don’t want to go backwards and end up needing a 4th, quite invasive surgery !

You have all been amazing at understanding and I can’t say how thankful I am for everyone’s well wishes, messages checking in and allowing me to move you here there and everywhere! I really do have the best customers 🥰. Maybe once this is over we can all go have a massive party 😂😂 🥴

Hope everyone has had a lovely start to the week.

I just wanted to provide a quick update. My surgery went well yesterday, but I’ll be staying in hospital until Wednesday or Thursday while I recover.

As a result, there may be a slight delay in my responses. If you’re currently waiting to hear back from me, I’ll reply to all messages once I’m home, towards the end of the week.

Polite customer notice 📣

Just a friendly reminder that the grass area opposite the salon, although it may look like a public space, is actually private land belonging to the house it is attached to.

Please could dog owners avoid letting their dogs go onto this area, especially to use it as a toilet. The land is privately owned and maintained by the homeowner, so we’d really appreciate everyone respecting it and using public areas instead.
