K9 Design Studio - Lowestoft we also do ultrasonic teeth cleaning sessions for dogs.

We specialise in cats and Large breed dogs, however we accept all dog breeds. 20+ years experience. 1-2-1 sessions for all pets and we're proud to be affordable while providing the very best care.

Unfortunately temperatures in the salon have reached 30°c and it's just to dangerous to have clients under driers or in the case of cats, having the door closed while they are being groomed, as such we are closing the salon to all clients this afternoon.

Normal service resumes tomorrow and during Hot temperatures we will assess hourly whether it is safe for your beloved pets to be in the salon, especially in the afternoons when the sun comes round to the salon door.

All affected clients have been notified by text message and we are in the process of rescheduling their appointments

Please be aware that we are now implementing a late pick up/drop off fee of £10 if you are more than 15 minutes late to drop off or collect your pet.

The main reason we are implementing this policy is because we want to stay a 1-2-1 salon and we don't have much buffer time between clients. We only usually have about 15 mins between each client to make sure that reactive dogs are not meeting other dogs or cats on the way in our out of the salon. Late pick ups means this is unobtainable.

Unfortunately the increased about of late picks ups mean that our entire day is then rushed and it is stressful for the animals to be here longer than necessary and this is not in the best interest of the dogs and cats we are caring for.

We understand traffic, trains & bridges can be an issue however some clients are 30 mins or more late to collect. This has a big impact on all the clients who are booked in after that collection time. It is also unfair having to ask clients to wait outside or in their car for 30 mins while waiting for late pick ups when they've arrived for their appointment on time.

We have roadworks on our road so there could be some disruption for the next few weeks with water supply, hopefully it won't affect us to much but please keep this in mind.

We currently don't have a pick up and delivery vehicle so unfortunately no pick up and delivery slots are available for dogs until further notice- sorry for the inconvenience

We have just added a couple of appointment slots to the diary between 12th and 19th, after 19th we are unable to squeeze anyone else in until after Xmas, appointments are going fast so please contact us ASAP if you'd like to get your dog done before we close for Xmas!!

Just a polite note for teeth cleaning clients, our ultrasonic toothbrush is good however for built up stains and plaque, it requires multiple sessions to get them looking totally clean then maintenance cleans are needed.
It is NOT a one time thing and they will unfortunately not be spotless after the first session
