Yesterday a lovely team member off HedgeHog Haven OultonBroad passed over the rainbow Bridge reunited with her loved ones .I had the priviledge off going to say goodbye a couple off weeks ago and the hedgehogs she gave me now look over the incubators in intensive care ,as we said its not goodbye its until we meet again ,fly high lovely lady ,i will raise a glass tonight for you 💔🦔😢

We have an incredible release site created by Azure Seas Holiday Village the lovely lady who started the ball rolling to make this possible many years ago by adopting chuffer isnt very well and id like to ask you all to say a little prayer for her well being ,thanks to this lady getting many off the staff and residents on board it now has a lovely large hedgehog population ,Judith be proud off what you started its an amazing thing you did xx

Busy afternoon Indi arrived via Jane lunchtime weighing 135 grams ,at moment poo sample is clear but instinct tells me something is there ,safe in incubator and will see what tomorrows sample shows 🤞

Closely followed by these 5 all weighing around 80gms 🤞

Welcome back Phantom

Phantom was bought in by Vicky winter time as a baby a check revealed he had a healed broken leg which left him with a slight limp ,he thrived but at time off release he was thought to be blind so was put into my disabled garden where he promptly followed Nathan and found a way out .Last night he was picked up on camera walking strangly in the next road by Gail and bought in this morning for a check where it was revealed it was Phantom ,he had a few ticks and fleas ,now gone ,after weighing him he has lost around 200 gms so will check poo and he can have a few days in to regain that to make him winter ready then i will return him back to Gail ❤️🦔🤞

Things have been crazily busy havent had a chance to post ,unit floor was done and made storage unit into intensive care so now apart from an emergency incubator indoors (can bring more in )all hogs are now in units outside so i sort off have my house back .Reduced the amount off hutches so i can concentrate on quality off care .we have had some sad arrivals hit by cars with one poor female giving birth premature and babies died ,one lady looking for a spot in an office to give birth luckily she held on until i got her in a maternity hutch ,managed to release some now weather is better which means that at the moment all in the incubators have now claimed a hutch .Apart from the adults in the maternity hutches and 2 adults in with leg problems we are full off toddlers and juvenilles ,i have 2 lovely capable foster mums joined the team ,thank you Joy and Hollie for taking some almost ready to go ones .Thank you Ruth for exchanging hogs last night so my ready to go hog went to his new garden enabling space for her out in day little girl to have a space .Thank you for all the support you have given while we have been offline ❤️🦔❤️🦔
