The Pet Butler The Pet Butler offers a bespoke range of pet services within Lowestoft and surrounding areas including dog walking and small pet drop in visits.

We have owned a mixture of dogs, cats and rabbits our entire lives which dare I say it, amounts to almost 70 years experience between us. This new business has been a dream of ours for many years and whilst starting this from scratch we are looking forward to meeting lots of new clients over the next few months and hope to expand on the services we offer as our business develops. We will do our best to fulfil all your pet’s requirements even if not listed on our list of standard services so if there is anything you don’t see listed please don’t be afraid to ask. Many boarding kennels, catteries and home boarders insist all pets in their care to be neutered and fully vaccinated. If we are caring for your pets in the comfort of their own home this negates the need for this which could make our services an attractive solution to you. We are also able to care for bi***es in season, administer certain medications and have no issue feeding raw or special dietary requirements. The welfare of your pets is our utmost priority and we are not here to stipulate what they should be eating or what their routine should be. We are simply here to provide safe, loving care for your pets. During every visit to your home we will always do the basic spot clean, change water and feed your pets as required alongside any listed services. For times when you are away from home for longer periods we will pick up your post, open and close curtains / turn lights on and off and even do a small shop on your behalf so you can come home to some essentials in your fridge if you wish! Not only will your pets benefit from our regular visits without the hassle and stress of boarding but your house will also be more secure as it will appear somebody is at home. We will carry out a full consultation with yourselves and a meet and greet with your pets prior to any booking. This consultation will be free of charge in your own home at a time to suit you. During the consultation we will ensure we have all the details recorded to enable us to give your pets the best possible care. Multiple pets in the same household can be discussed with discounted prices available. We also offer 5% or 10% discount on block bookings for our listed standard services. The joys of being a dog walker!!

⚠️Weather Update ⚠️
Early warming of some very unsettled conditions to come.

Ok so we have heading into the south of the UK tonight into tomorrow but we now also have heading into the North of the UK Saturday.
The first storm won't be too bad but Boelo might bring us some Gales or severe Gales. Certainly an interesting weekend to come with some nasty weather around. Batten down the hatches but also be wary of localised flooding as rain amounts will toll up.

A year ago today we got a phone call from a client which is every dog walkers worst nightmare…..Dave has been hit by a car.

The days that followed were heartbreaking and we weren’t sure Dave would ever make it home. The little boy had a pelvis broken in 4 places, a dislocated hip, a crushed sacrum and then on top of it all pneumonia.

By some miracle, Dave made it home a few days later but had weeks and months of recovery ahead.

Dave was only a puppy when this happened, we’d been walking him and looking after him for a while and we’d already got very attached probably even more so because he’s a cockapoo, cute, loveable and cheeky in equal amounts. Once Dave was home his family allowed us to keep visiting him, spending many hours with him laying on the floor next to his crate and taking him out for toilet breaks.

This little boy has and always will have a very special place in our hearts and we’re so grateful we can share videos like this today, showing him enjoying life on the beach as if nothing ever happened.

We are thankful for everybody’s quick thinking that day, from Dave’s family, Pakefield Vets and the specialists at Christchurch. Due to all of this, Dave is here, happy and loved dearly by so many.
