I must be one of the luckiest to be able to watch my puppies grow, see them living their best lives AND have the privilege of being their groomer 🤍🤍

Everyone, meet Harry on the left and Bodhi on the right! 🐶🤍

It was their very first time in the salon, and they were both ready for their big grown-up haircuts! ✂️🐾 They were absolute superstars and I’m so proud of how they are growing.

Even more special is knowing they’ve both found their forever homes and are so loved 🥹🤍

I’m away with the kids this weekend, so I won’t be answering messages or calls. I’ll be back to it as normal on Monday!

🐾 A little note from me ❤️

For those who may not know, alongside running my business, I’m also a mum. And as much as I absolutely love what I do, sometimes the two worlds clash, especially when one of my children is poorly.

Unfortunately, there are times when I have no choice but to rearrange or cancel appointments at short notice. I know this can be frustrating and I never take for granted the fact that you have booked your dogs in with me, so I always feel awful when I have to change things.

But I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single one of you who is so understanding, patient and willing to work around me when these things happen. ❤️

You genuinely make it possible for me to do what I love while also being there for my children when they need me. I honestly wouldn’t have the business I have today without the amazing support of my clients.

Running a business and raising children is hard work, and sometimes life just happens. I’m incredibly lucky to have such understanding customers who get that. 🥰

So thank you for your patience, your kindness and for continuing to support Bark in Style by Gemma. It really does mean more than you know. 🐶❤️

This is Lacey, one of the biggest girls here at Bark in Style, and she’s absolutely beautiful inside and out! 🥰 Her owners love her lovely bigger, natural head, and I have to agree — it suits her perfectly! 💕🐾

Just a little notice to let you all know that I’m off for a week to spend the last week of the summer holidays with my kids before they’re back to school. ❤️☀️

I’ll still be replying to messages and appointment enquiries in the evenings, so please don’t worry if you need to get in touch.

First time with me and these two little girls were SO nervous of absolutely everything 🥺❤️ So we took it extra slow, gave them plenty of time to settle and worked through everything together.

We’ve had a busy weekend here with these little monkeys keeping us on our toes… but Mr Blue?

He’s absolutely exhausted from doing absolutely NOTHING. 😂

Just look at him… feet in the air, belly out, completely unbothered by life! 🐾💙

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are causing chaos and Mr Blue has clearly decided he’s above it all. 🤣

We’ve still got a few of these gorgeous little characters looking for their very own families, so if you’ve been thinking about adding one of these fluffy little troublemakers to your life… you know where we are! 🥰🐶

🐾 Anxious dogs come in all different shapes and forms — and we’re always willing to give it a go! 🐾

With experience handling nervous and anxious dogs, we know that a calm, patient and confident approach can make all the difference. Sometimes it just takes a little time, reassurance and trust — and here at Bark in Style, we truly believe anything is possible. 🤍

We’ve had lots of new furry friends joining us recently, and one of them is gorgeous Max! 🥰

Max came in feeling very anxious and unsure, and Shannon definitely got wet when he decided to bury his head into her while being bathed! 😂💦

But look at him now… he soon settled, relaxed enough to lay down, close his eyes and enjoy some well-earned pampering. 🥹🐶

We absolutely love seeing that moment when a nervous dog realises they’re safe and can finally relax. 🤍

Calm. Patient. Confident. Trust first, groom second. 🐾
