We had a lovely evening last night demonstrating 'from farm to fleece'. An evening of seeing the sheep still with their woolly coats on, to being sheared, spinning, weaving, felting etc, show trimming, and of course coffee and cake. Huge thank you to those that made the evening happen .. Naomi and George for the sheep and the behind the scenes preparation!, R E Hewerdine Livestock Services for demonstrating and talking about shearing, Flock Fran and her gorgeous daughters who chatted and demonstrated their skill in show preparation - so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and very talented ! A huge thank you for the 'spinning' team who demonstrated the different processes of the wool from the raw state to the finished items - some beautiful sheepskin products were displayed. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, helped, gave up their evening etc and of course all our clients who came to support the evening. We hope you had a great evening.
