Awww cute! Come on folks, donate money in our competition to help out our amazing local wildlife 🙏

🦫 Our team was intrigued when we first received a report of a very unwell mammal found in a garden. The finder couldn’t quite identify the creature, which certainly had us guessing!

It turned out that this tiny youngster was, in fact, a weasel! Still blind and completely dependent on her mother, we believe this otherwise healthy, albeit cold and hungry, youngster may have been separated from her mother following a disturbance to their nest site.

Weighing just 25g, she had a long way to go before reaching the natural age of dispersal. But we’re delighted to report that this little weasel is doing extraordinarily well!

She is now just a few weeks away from being fit, old enough, and ready to return to the wild.
