After 4 amazing years, it’s time for me to hang up my dog walking lead and move on to my next chapter 🐾🧡

Over the years I’ve been out in every kind of weather, freezing winter mornings to hot summer afternoons and plenty of rain in between - I’ve come home covered in mud more times than I can count! I’ve had muddy paws, soggy coats, endless wagging tails and thousands of sloppy dog kisses 🥰

Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their lovely dogs. It’s been such a privilege getting to know all of their different personalities and being part of their daily routines. They’ve made every walk an adventure and I’ll always be grateful for the memories.

This isn’t goodbye to the dogs completely, as I’ll now be putting all of my time and passion into Great Dames Dog Grooming where I will hopefully still see some of you☺️

Thank you all for your support over the last four years, it has meant the world to me.

🫪⚠️ Tick warning ⚠️🫪

Found this lovely little hitchhiker attached to Floyd’s chest today! 😩🫪

Ticks are definitely about at the minute, so it’s worth giving your dog a quick check after walks, especially if they’ve been in long grass, fields or wooded areas.

Have a feel around the ears, neck, chest, armpits, between the toes and around the tail.

If you find one, please use a proper tick remover rather than just pulling it out. Pulling can leave the mouthparts behind, which can cause irritation and increase the risk of infection.

We always do our best to check the dogs in our care, but this one was on my own dog and I didn’t spot it straight away. I felt awful when I found it, and it just goes to show how easily they can hide, even when you’re looking for them.
