Meet Toast! 🐾 🍞

Toast has the best name, and he is a good friend of Coda, who he knows through a whippet club. He absolutely loves tennis balls 🎾 and sprinting as fast as his long, springy legs will take him.

He can just about keep up with Coda, but Coda is still the fastest!

He loves posing for pictures and he is a very good boy when on walks, keeping right behind my ankles the whole time. If you are a squirrel 🐿️, however, you'd better run!

This guy is older and a little less able than the rest of the Woofpack, but with regular breaks to recharge, he can keep up with the youngsters, no problem!

His signature shocked-face look 😲, with his jaw hanging down, wide eyes 👀 and his tongue hanging out 👅, makes it look like you've just told him the most surprising news!

Maybe someone just told him: "Did you know that sticks grow on trees?"

Meet Cookie! 🍪 🐶

This beautiful Beagle and I have been very good friends for nearly 2 years now! When he first came out for a walk with me, he was having to wear the "cone of shame" due to an eye infection 🤒. It made sniffing the floor much more difficult whilst walking along (as Beagles love to follow their nose! 👃) because the cone kept scooping up mud! But it did not stop him from trying and having a brilliant time!

He's now free from the cone and can enjoy wandering in the woodlands 🌲, fulfilling his need to explore. Can you imagine having a sense of smell as good as a Beagle's?

Meet Norman! 🐶

He is an English Springer Spaniel and he is as energetic as they come. He and I have known each other for nearly 2 years from my previous job at a doggy day care and now he is joining me on Tuesdays for epic woodland adventures 🌲

Being the breed that he is, he benefits from being able to let loose and release all the energy that he has built up by running about like crazy. He doesn't stop!

We were joined by Coda and Penny (see previous 2 posts), but they couldn't keep up with Norman.

As temperatures reached over 30°C today, we stayed cool in the shade of the forest and drank plenty of water along the way 💦

Looking forward to seeing him next week!

Meet Coda the Whippet, who is coming out with me all week for walks.

These pics are from our first adventure together on Monday as a solo walk along Regent's Canal, a hidden gem in the heart of London. He thoroughly enjoyed exploring this brand new environment, but was cautious to get too close to the water!

Coda and I go back about 2 years, so he knew he was in safe hands. Can't wait for new adventures to come this week!
