Fabio the stunning 15 yr old Turkish Angora 😻

Fabio desperately needed sorting as he had a load of compacted tufts that were on the brink of turning into matting. I did have to shave a few patches but overall he was an angel and let me deshed all of that dead fur with a mixture of metal combs, rubber brushes and a bobbled slicker 🥰

He was a total angel and chit chatted to us the entire groom 😻

My holiday has started with a well needed groom of my own boys 🐾🐾

Myles had a mud de-shed mask, followed by a good scrub with Buddycare's anti-itch shampoo and their shea conditioner and then a good de-shed. He had his nails trimmed, pawpads and nose moisturised, twinkly teeth package and a deep ear clean 🧼❤️

Otis (who is allergic to everything) had a good scrub with Buddycare's anti-itch shampoo, followed by their shea butter conditioner and then a good de-shed. He had his ingrown hairs in his pawpads plucked, nails trimmed, nose and pawpads moisturised and around his eyes cleaned with Buddycare's antiseptic eye cleaner.

Now onto the airport to spend a few days with my family by the pool ☀️

Rockys pawrents found me on TikTok. They had been struggling to find the perfect fit for Rocky as he has been turned away from a few groomers due to his grooming aggression. Off the table, Rocky is a sweetie, but on the table, he becomes a bit of a shark.

Today was his first session with me. I blocked out my entire evening so that we could go at his pace. Very slowly, he started to trust me and learn that biting wasn't going to get him anywhere, but instead tolerance of what was happening would earn him a break and a treat. Every few minutes of tolerance was rewarded with a break, a treat and a little head scratch. Did this groom take forever? Yes! But was it worth it? Absolutely!
