Another fulfilling year has come to an end. We've had our ups and downs, but I can certainly say that it was full of pleasant surprises !

My business has thrived this year because of all of you who always supported me and appreciated my art and passion. It was a nice year for my whole family too!

Although I have quietly suffered the loss of my eldest dog, Chuck, I haven't stopped seeing the bright side of life. My clients need to know that their dogs helped me every day more than I helped them.

!! We are seeking a passionate and skilled part-time Mobile Pet Groomer to groom our wonderful clients in and around beautiful Hampstead area. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, and will be able to drive a large van. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners, ensuring that each pet receives the highest standard of care and grooming while a commitment to providing exceptional costumer service. You will drive to clients that find it more convenient to use our mobile services than the hustle of going to the salon. Our van is fully equipped and very thoughtful of the groomer's routine needs.

A full training in mobile grooming will be given to the right candidate and will be assured to have a clear picture of the job before starting on you own.

Duties

Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. We also offer expression of a**l glands, ear cleaning and teeth descaling (A full training and photos will be given to the right candidate, so that you already know what the clients are asking for even before your consultation).
Safely drive the company's van and following the highway code
Keep the grooming van clean and tidy at all times as it is our company's picture
Fill up the water tank if it's needed (a water station is available at our premises)
Have secure available parking for the van overnight
Fill up the fuel that you used on your working days
Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment for both pets and yourself.
Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, pet behaviour, and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
Assist in managing appointments and maintaining customer records to ensure a smooth workflow.
Lift and move pets of varying sizes, requiring physical strength and stamina.

Experience:

At least 2 years experience of driving in the UK with full UK driving license.
Previous experience in veterinary settings or animal care is highly desirable.
Proven customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their needs.
Ability to handle heavy lifting associated with larger breeds and ''harder to deal'' with dogs
A genuine love for animals, along with patience and understanding of their behaviour, is essential for success in this role. If you are enthusiastic about animal care and possess the necessary skills to provide top-notch grooming services, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position as a Pet Groomer.

You tell us your schedule and we follow.
We book in the dogs for you
This is a self employed basis role, you will be your own boss
Commission paid
Shampoo's and conditioners will be provided for you
Tools will be provided upon request
You will work with very well behaved dogs that every groomer wishes to work with
Full training will be provided for as long as needed to establish you as our new K9 Stylist
We will guide you through every step so you can succeed in this role
