The Tartan Army are heading home. The Team let down the fans, Steve Clarke and themselves with unforgivable mistakes against Morocco and Brazil! Even Cape Verde will finish higher than them! To make these defensive mistakes once is bad enough but then to do it twice against Brazil really is unbelievanle! Think even Ally Mcleods disastrous campaign was mire bearable than this! In many ways it would have been a travesty if they had got through on 3 points when the greatest Scotland squsd ever of 1974 drew 0 0 with Brazil and 1 1 with the great Yuhoslavian team sfter beating Zaire finished on 5 points and still went home on goal difference!
