Matted Coat Policy Reminder
I do not brush out severely matted coats.
Attempting to brush out matting can cause: • Skin redness and irritation
• Bruising
• Emotional distress
• Long-term fear of grooming
In these cases, the safest and most humane option is a Restart Groom — a fresh start that removes the matting safely and allows the coat to grow back healthy.
I understand that haircuts can be emotional. However, my responsibility is to the health, safety, and comfort of the dog — always.
I will never compromise , integrity, or ethical standards to meet cosmetic expectations.
If protecting a dog from unnecessary pain earns me a one-star review, we will accept it with professionalism — and with the peace of knowing I did what was right.
