šŸŽƒ Halloween is fast approaching! While it’s a fun and exciting time for children, it can be quite stressful for some dogs—especially those who are frightened by the sound of constant door-knocking or have experienced past trauma.

A great idea is to check with your neighbours (perhaps through your community WhatsApp group) to see if a Halloween trail is being organised. This way, households can opt in or opt out, making the evening more enjoyable for everyone—both two-legged and four-legged!

šŸ¶šŸ™‚Meet the Faces Behind the Logo šŸ™‚šŸ¶
Me & Harold – My Beloved Airedale Terrier

Hi, I’m Emily— I’m on a mission to help dogs (and their people) thrive.

I’m passionate about supporting dogs who are struggling with life. Whether it’s fear, frustration, or big feelings they don’t yet know how to handle, I believe every dog deserves understanding, not judgment.

I offer thorough, evidence-based behaviour advice to help dog guardians understand, manage, and improve their dog’s behaviour—while building a relationship rooted in trust. Because when we truly listen to our dogs, incredible changes can happen.

What I Offer
🐾 Dog Behaviour Assessments
A detailed evaluation to understand your dog’s unique behaviour, uncover the root causes, and guide the path forward.

🐾 Behaviour Modification Plans
Tailored, evidence-based strategies designed to address behavioural challenges and support lasting, positive change.

🐾 1-to-1 In-Person Training
Personalised coaching to build skills, confidence, and a strong connection between you and your dog.

I take a compassionate, practical approach, helping to prevent problems before they start—and stepping in with calm, clear guidance when challenges arise. Together, we’ll uncover what’s really going on and create a plan that works for your dog, your lifestyle, and your goals.

Let’s create a happier home—one paw at a time. 🐾

šŸ“– HELPFUL RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES šŸ“–
Teaching children how to safely interact with dogs is so important and yet, it’s something that’s often missing from school curriculums. I’d love to help change that!

As someone who was bitten by a dog as a young child, this is a topic that’s very close to my heart. šŸ’›

Over the summer holidays, why not take a moment to share this short and informative video with your little ones? It’s a great way to start the conversation about respectful and safe behaviour around dogs.

🐾 The video was created by the Pet Education Partnership and can be found on YouTube (just search ā€œBeing Safe Around Dogsā€.)

Let’s help keep children (and pups!) safe through education and awareness. šŸ¶šŸ‘§šŸ‘¦

As dogs live longer, they face more age-related challenges — and it’s not always easy to tell what’s normal and what might not bešŸ’”

That’s why Professor Carrie Westgarth and her team at the University of Liverpool, with support from BSAVA PetSavers, developed the Ageing Canine Toolkit – a free, evidence-based resource to help dog owners recognise early signs of health and behavioural changes in senior dogs. šŸ§ ā¤ļø

The toolkit’s traffic light colour-coded checklist helps dog owners recognise when it might be time to seek advice.

Donate Ā  Dogs are living up to twice as long as they did 40 years ago which has implications for ageing dogs’ healthcare and wellbeing. As the life expectancy of our canine golden oldies increases, so does the amount of time our dogs spend in poor health, but it may be difficult for owners to [.....
